Who We Are
Project Forgive started as a little video by Dr. Shawne Duperon, a communication scholar, public speaker and Six-Time EMMY® winner, to initiate a conversation on forgiveness.
No politics, no religion, just an authentic inquiry of what forgiveness means to people across the globe.
The video’s compelling story of forgiveness struck a chord and went viral, having been seen by tens of thousands. Funds have been raised to produce and release a documentary, slated to air in 2016 on PBS.
Today, Project Forgive is officially endorsed by Archbishop Desmond Tutu, has been honored with a Nobel Peace Prize nomination and reaches millions of people each month in social media.
This unprecedented response was the catalyst for the Project Forgive Foundation a 501c3 non-partisan, non-religious leadership foundation committed to educating students and business leaders in mastering skills such as collaboration, integrity, diversity, compassion and forgiveness in the workplace.
